The Idealista portal carried out a study to find the most sought-after neighbourhoods in Spanish cities for buying a home in the second quarter of 2024. It was based on the activity of the portal’s users: email enquiries, counter-offers and saves to “Favourites” for each published listing.
It turned out that the highest demand is for homes in neighbourhoods of Madrid and Valencia, such as Moratalaz, Villa de Vallecas, Vicálvaro, Benimaclet, Jesús and Quatre Carreres. Among other large cities, there are Las Palmas (Carretera del Centro-Cono Sur), Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Ofra-Costa Sur), Zaragoza (Arrabal – Barrio Jesús, Universidad – Romareda, Las Fuentes), Seville (Pino Montano, Parque Alcosa, Macarena, San Pablo), Barcelona (Sant Martí, Sants-Montjuïc, Sant Andreu and Nou Barris) and Santander (Puertochico, Valdenoja – La Pereda, Alisal – Cazoña – San Román).
